The Idea

                                                The name Brave comes from when I lost my son in 2007 at five months pregnant. I was in my second abusive relationship and found out I was pregnant around my third month. My son would have been named Bravery, considering I had been though radiation x-rays, a blow out crash on I-94, along with a slip and fall before I found out I was pregnant with Bravery. So the Nurse said "this is one Brave baby hiding in there". Brave sparked the idea to generate a clothing line but I had doubts that people wouldn't buy it because mainly sex sells. So I procrastinated for years.

                                                After many years of procrastinating, my friend was a rape victim, found but had been left for dead. I was able to talk and comfort her because I'm a rape victim survivor so I understand the pain and suffering . I told her I was going to make her a shirt. I had already registered my name and did all my paper work but this made me work faster. I wanted her to be happy and know that someone cares, I care. I made her shirt and she loved it. Others began to admire the shirt and at that moment, I gained the courage and said " I'm going to launch Brave Clothing LLC and see what happens" and now, I am here!

The style of Brave Clothing is unique and somewhat sexy but not trashy. I venture more towards plus size because many stores don't sell plus size and big woman are beautiful as well. Many have been through things and don't feel attractive, noticeable or what ever the case may be. Be Brave let's them know through whatever hardship they have faced or are facing, you can and will overcome because you're Beautiful, Righteous, Astonishing, Valuable and Essential.
I say essential because it's not just women, men go through things as well. So they can also feel good about themselves and wear Brave Clothing. T-shirts, hats, beaters, etc.
